Help:Zen of the Wiki
From CommonFuture
We need a couple of rules to work by. This is a first proposal - and, of course, it applies to itself:
- Everything is work in progress, nothing is finished.
- Progress means: your contribution.
- Pages aren't owned, they're shared.
- That cool idea you have: you should try to build it. It does not need to be a full concept yet. Just post it and we'll develop it together.
- Publish early, publish often.
- If you build half of it, maybe someone else will pick up where you left off.
- If you don't know how, do trial & error and ask someone to help.
- If you think someone's idea isn't perfect - develop it, don't delete it.
- Do the hyper: one idea, one page.
- Even more hyper: link all you can. Then some more.
- Link toward pages that don't yet exist: it's an invitation to collaborate.
- Pages names are important: be descriptive and concise.
