Category pages are a bit special: they have their own page content (text) but they also list all the pages that have been assigned to them. This is very useful to maintain some order and to make it easy to find all pages on a specific topic. Categories can also have sub-categories. For example, currently on the wiki we have a category called Issues, and some of its subcategories are Energy Equality, Climate Change, and Future Finance.

In order to add a page to a category, you need to list that category at the bottom of the page. This is how:

[[Category:Energy and Climate]]

In order to link to a category listing, prefix the name with a colon:

[[:Category:Energy and Climate]]
